There are so many world issues in the world right now. Human trafficking is a global issue that I believe needs more awareness. Human trafficking is transporting and profiting from human beings who are forced to work for others. This event is equivalent to slavery. Throughout the world over one hundred countries participate in human trafficking. This issue is the fastest rising criminal industry.This industry makes from five to nine million US dollars yearly. Almost 2.5 million people are forced into being exploited, sold, or forced into labor. In some places like in China, a child can be sold for $1000 up to $6000 US. The price of a child, usually depends on the age and gender. You might think parents are crazy by giving there children to traffickers but its only because of the one child policy. If parents have more than one child, they will struggle with major fines and the government will certainly not support the second child. Women in China get easily tricked and sold into forced marriages. Traffickers can lie to a women and say that they will get plenty of job opportunities and then sold unwillingly to a man. There many of groups out there fighting against human trafficking. Will you fight against human trafficking?
